Our Health Programme

the_report_back_session_and_more_qs_from_group_facilitated_by_rukia8.jpgAlive & Kicking South Africa is following the Alive & Kicking model by printing educative health messages relating to HIV/AIDS and TB on our balls, to benefit ball recipients - the youth of South Africa, most at risk from these diseases. We are also working closely with our stitchers to improve their health awareness and development. As part of our health and wellness programme, stitchers are benefiting from a series of health training sessions which include advice on how to get tested for HIV, and which also look at the stigma and discrimination attached with HIV.
