Alive & Kicking make cheap, tough, repairable footballs, netballs and volleyballs using African skills and African leather. Each carries a message about HIV/AIDS and malaria.
Alive & Kicking is a charity. We need your help, please.
You can donate money or give a ball.
We coudn't provide the services required without the invaluable help of these organisations...
Our first Stitching Centre in South Africa is now operational! In 2007 three trustees from Alive and Kicking UK travelled to appoint a Managing Director of Alive and Kicking South Africa. They appointed Rukia Cornelius, previously of Treatment Action Campaign, and she started work in October 2007. Already balls are being produced and a health and wellness programme for the stitchers is under way.
